Makayyram is a beautiful house over the Harbour Rd Hill, Kovalam, Kerala.. From here it's possible to see the enchanting, blue sea of the ocean, the luxuriant vegetation of plam trees, papayas, jackfruits, etc. the incredible and the astonishing, well-known sunsets of Kerala. The distance from the famous Kovalam beach is 10 minutes of slow walk. And is not far (3 min.) from the main road where you can get a taxi or a rickshaw whenever you want. It has two bedrooms, one living room, one big kitchen, two bathrooms and a two big terraces. There are wide windows on the four sides of the house. Six ceiling fans create a delicious breeze inside the house. The furnishing is the typical malayalam style: solid mahogany table, chairs, cupboards, and beds.. The bathrooms are small (in accordance to western criteria), but clean and practical. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, microwaves, toaster, etc.. A housemaid is entrusted with the daily house cleaning and is also available to wash your clothes. Due to the height above the sea level and the hill position, the house is always well airy. And from the terrace you will see an astonishing landscape of the coconuts and the ocean. In short, a beautiful place where you can spend a fantastic holiday in this amazing Kerala spot! |
